Goal: To create a bold and visually captivating website for Canvas Kicks, a fictional sneaker brand that showcases limited-edition, artist-designed sneakers. The site needed to highlight the unique, artful details of each shoe and provide a seamless shopping experience that appeals to sneaker enthusiasts and fashion-forward shoppers.
As the lead designer, I was responsible for establishing a vibrant visual style and an intuitive user interface. I aimed to capture the energy of streetwear culture by using a dynamic color scheme, bold typography, and high-quality product imagery. My focus was on creating a shopping experience that makes each sneaker feel like a piece of wearable art. The design balances a visually engaging storefront with practical e-commerce functionality, including product browsing, size selection, and customer reviews.
The design strategy for Canvas Kicks revolves around emphasizing the uniqueness of each sneaker through large, high-quality images and clean, minimalist layouts. I used a warm, neutral background to make the vibrant colors and textures of the sneakers pop, while maintaining a layout that allows users to browse with ease.
